Douglas is home to a wide range of restaurants for every taste, from restaurants using local Manx produce, seafood restaurants to various Chinese and Indian restaurants. Don't forget you can also order food at reception, right on your door step.
For a quick overview, a good family restaurant is Coasters, on Douglas quayside. For more refined dining, 14 North or Tanroagan on the North Quay, Douglas, is a popular bar-restaraunt where you can enjoy a superb evening in elegant surroundings. Little Fish on the North Quay offers a great selection of seafood and is open 7 days a week.
For that extra special, in the middle of Douglas, the family run MacFarlanes Restaurant listed in the 2013 Michelin Guide offers fresh and individually prepared cuisine, served in a warm and friendly environment that will make your personal dining experience a memorable one.
Elsewhere, Peel's Creek Inn is a bustling pub with a great menu, Horizons in Port St Mary has a terrific reputation for fine dining, the Highlander Steakhouse in Crosby offers a top quality night out and the Swiss Chalet, at Glen Helen, has simply been one of the Island's best restaurants for many years and continues to strengthen its position.
